eXchange

It is sometimes needed to exchange data blocks by other one. I.e. to generate specifically “errors” on validating of product.

The exchance function provides up to 3 datasets which defines strings to be exchange on transmission. The use of wildcards (‘?’) is also possible.

Example

Define the rule:

         Search for : ”123”
         Replace with : ”5678”

Let`s say, that this data stream will be received:

         abcd12efg123hijk

SerialSniffer will replace it by this:

         abcd12efg5678hijk
